Klogu People (“the Service”) is provided by [Operator's registered company name], registered at [registered address] (“we”, “us”). These terms are between us and the organisation that signs up (“you”). The person who signs up confirms they are authorised to accept them for that organisation. Signing up, or signing in, means you accept them.

A free trial lasts 14 days from the day you sign up, to the end of the 14th day after it. Nothing is charged and no card or payment details are asked for.

During the trial you can use the Service's Growth features for up to 25 people and 2 authorised users (admins and managers).

There is one free trial per organisation, per email address and per mobile number. We may end a trial early if it is used against these terms.

When the trial ends, your staff can no longer sign in. Your admins can still sign in to one screen, where they tell us whether you'd like to continue. Nothing you entered is deleted at this point.

Payment is made offline, by bank transfer, UPI or cheque, against the plan and invoice we send you. There is no online payment in the Service. Once we receive payment, access is restored as it was, with your data intact.

If you don't ask to continue, your account is closed 30 days after the trial ends. It and everything in it — staff records, attendance, payroll, documents and files — is permanently deleted 90 days after the trial ends.

Keep your own copies of anything you need, such as registers and payslips, before then. We can't recover deleted data. If you have asked to continue and are waiting to hear from us, nothing is closed or deleted while we deal with your request.

A paid subscription's plan, number of people and users, term and price are those we agree with you in writing, or on our invoice. We remind you 7 days before a term ends. If it isn't renewed, the Service keeps working for 7 more days. After that, access is limited as in section 3 until you renew.

Keep sign-in codes and PINs private; you are responsible for what is done through the accounts you create. Give accurate information, and keep your organisation's details up to date.

You decide what information about your staff to put into the Service. For that information you are the “Data Fiduciary” under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we process it on your behalf and on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for it, and for telling your staff that their data is kept here. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

The Service works out wages, PF, ESIC, professional tax, labour welfare fund, TDS, bonus and gratuity from what you enter and the settings you choose. It is a tool, not legal, tax or payroll advice. You remain responsible for checking the figures, and for the filings and payments you make to any authority.

Don't use the Service for anything unlawful. Don't try to reach another organisation's data, or get round the Service's limits or security. Don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it, or load it with automated traffic. We may suspend an account that does any of these.

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, for example by maintenance or by failures at our providers. We may improve or change features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change applies.

The Service and its software are ours. The data you put in is yours: you can export your registers and reports while your account is open.

The free trial is provided as it is, without payment and without any warranty. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
